Keith's New Bed

Finally, Keith's new bed has arrived. I've started to let Keith sleep on the mattress on the floor a few months ago since we are planning for a baby next year. But, he'll wake up middle of the nite and climb up the bed and sleep in between the two of us everynite. I've tried to trick him so many times by sleeping with him on the mattress but he'll leave me and climb up the bed by himself and then tell me "Goodnite". The other day, we saw this bed in a furniture shop and Keith was so excited and started to clim up the bed. So, we've decided to purchase it hoping that he'll sleep on the bed. Well, I hope tonite he'll sleep on his new bed and let mummy and daddy hug each other and sleep.Hehe...

Go and buy 4D "My car number is 168"

"Is this a lorry or a car. So hard to turn the steering wheel"

Hubby's been very selfish lately and will always get angry when I let the little fella sleep on the bed with us. He feels that I've been paying more attention to Keith. Well of course I have to coz' he's still young. When it comes to 2nd baby planning, hubby will always tell me one is enough. He felt that if we have a 2nd baby, he won't have my attention anymore. Sometimes, I felt hubby's being selfish and never think that his children are still young and needs me more than he does. I've never neglected him. It's just that we don't have much time for each other like we used to when we were childless. Of course he can have my attention day and nite coz' I don't need to pay attention to others.
He complained that I never go on a holiday alone with him. That's becoz' he never asked. He said I always drag Keith along with us whenever we go on a holiday. That's becoz' MIL is going somewhere and no one is at home to take care of Keith. We'll never leave Keith alone with the maid. Most of the time, hubby goes out drinking with his friends and would come home at wee hours. During the weekends, he's somewhere with his friends and spending his weekends with his friends. Leaving Keith, my maid and I alone. He's never take the initiative to bring Keith swimming, to the playground or even out for a meal alone. When I pointed out these issues, he just kept quiet. He expect me to handle Keith by myself with the help from my maid and yet complaint about me not paying much attention to him. Sometimes, I felt so envy seeing other parents bringing their children out to the park, etc. and spend their weekends together. If we are in KL for the weekend, he'll leave the kids (Including my step daughter) with me and go out clubbing with his friends. When I expect him to bring the children shopping, visit the zoo, etc. He'll be too tired to wake up the next day coz' he'll came back during wee hrs and expect us to wait for him to get up at 11am or 12 pm.When I planned on something, he'll just say "You bring the kids and I'll stay at home". That remarks always make me blow my top coz' I expect him to bring the children along with me.
I just don't understand what is so hard for him to be more responsible with the kids and spend more precious time with them. No wonder my son and stepdaughter are so attached to me.So hard for me to persuade him for baby no.2. I hope in a few months time, I'll bring good news for everyone.Hehe

Tummy Ache

This morning, Keith really gave all of us a scare. I was about to leave my house to send Keith next door (MIL's hse) and leave for work, when Keith started complaining tummy ache. I rub Yu Yee Oil on his tummy and carried him to MIL's place.
As usual, I'll lie him down on the mattress and give him his bottled milk and leave for work. My maid came and carried him since he was a little "manja" and complained tummy ache. He was still whining when I came out of the house. Suddenly, my maid carried Keith out of the house, walking towards me. He was so pale and looks as though he was about to faint. He was sweating and his feet became pale too.I quickly asked my maid to carry him into the car and asked hubby to drink to the clinic.
The clinic open at 9am only. So, we rush him to the A&E next door. No doctor was around. The nurse called the paed while we waited in the room with Keith. I put him on the bed and offered him his milk. He look so weak and pale. I was so worried till tears started to roll down my cheeks. My maid was so worried till she was crying too. Keith slept off for about 5 mins and got up when hubby's hp started to ring.
Hubby was feeling restless coz' the paed was no where to been seen after half an hour of waiting. He went and asked the nurses where the hell is the doctor. We were about to leave to go to GH when the paed came. By that time, Keith was feeling much better. The Dr. only said that it might be a viral thingy that causes him to have tummy ache. He gave him a bottle of medicine and we are suppose to give him when necessary.
I am really pissed with the service in this hospital. Getting really sick and tired with the services in the Private hospitals in Taiping. They are not efficient enough. Imagine if there is anything serious at that time, what is going to happen to my son. Sometimes, I really felt like shifting back to Kuching. At least, we've got everything there and the people are more efficient.

Deeparaya at Silverstone Clubhouse

4th November

This year, my company decide to held a Deeparaya celebration at the clubhouse. At first, I was kinda reluctant to go. Then I told myself, it's the first time the company's having a gathering since I started working.
I went there at about 10am. There were a few huge white canopy with lotsa food such as, fried mee, kueh teow, tosai, rendang, lemang, ice cream, variety of cookies and cakes, chendol, ice kacang, laksa, lontong, hot and cold drinks, etc. I saw lotsa hampers on the stage and the MC were calling our employee number and name to collect out lucky draw prize.Hehe...Luckily, I came. I brought along my maid, Keith and hubby. This is the first time my colleagues actually see hubby. They never see him in person as most of the time, he'll drop me off to work in the morning and pick me up for lunch. He never get out of the car. Most of them were staring at him. He went there with his baggy 3 quarter pants and t-shirts exposing his tattooes on both side of his leg. People must be wondering who the heck is this gangster.Haha.....
Some of my colleagues even said that he looks like he's in his late 30's and I look like a college student. Haha.... I married an old man.....
Keith was so excited too coz the music was going on and there were lotsa free food. He get to eat anything he wanted. He had 2 ice cream cone with a little ice cream in it too. Hubby left at about 12pm coz' I decided to stay a little longer hoping to get my lucky draw.Hehe...Those who didn't turn up to collect their prizes will be forfeited by the HR dept.
I was busy helping my colleague who was one of the committee to pack some goodies for the HODs (head of departments) when I heard my name being called. I got a better prize instead of the hamper.Hehe....
We went back at about 1p.m. After an hour, it began to rain heavily. Luckily, the weather was fine in the morning. I actually got a vacuum cleaner for my lucky draw..Hehe...This is the 1st time that I actually got an electrical item from lucky draw.

*Sorry everyone. I forgot to bring my camera on that day. So, no pictures..

Trip To Philippines Part 3

24th October

Today is my shopping spree. MIL and SIL's MIL wanted to go for a SPA. We sent them to the SPA which is also in the same building where we're shopping.
After shopping, we went to HRC for lunch. Then, the ladies decided to do a little shopping. We went back to the apartment at about 4.30p.m. to get bath and relax for awhile. At about 6p.m.,we going to another shopping complex which is quite far away. This shopping complex is something like Sg. Wang. I got a shock when I went into the mainentrance, there was a booth right in the middle selling guns. Is it legal in this country to own a gun???
After a short tour around the shopping complex, we went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. We went back to the apartment at about 9p.m. to do our packing coz' we are leaving quite early tomorrow. Hubby,Ranjit, his gf and I went to HRC to get some merchandise and also a couple of drinks. I went back to the apartment early coz' I needed to do packing. My shopping spree makes me ended up with 2 bags full of new clothes.Hehe.....

25th October

I got up at about 5.30 am today. Our transport suppose to be here at 7am. I took my shower and did some last minute packing. Then, I woke Ruby up to get her clean up and changed. Keith is still in dreamland when our transport came.
He got up almost 8a.m. and I got him changed in the van. He was yacking all the way to Clark while everyone was so sleepy in the van. He was such a good boy and manage to sit down quietly in the van.
At the airport, we scanned all our bags and even have to take off our shoes for scanning. The queue was quite long when we reached there. By the time it's our turn, we saw an old man trying to talk to the lady at the check in counter. He was speaking in Malay and the lady couldn't understand him. At last, the lady asked hubby to translate for her.Apparently, this poor man got robbed 2 days ago. He had no money to pay for his airport tax. If he never pay, he cannot go through the immigration to go back. We felt pity for the old man and decided to pay for him. He was in tears when he was explaining to us what had happened to him. He told us that he was here with a close friend and the friend left him after he got robbed. The robbers pointed a gun on his head and he gave them all his money, watch, handphone and a gold ring.He begged them for some money and they've only given him RM10 back. He still have his wallet with him but without money. He's a police pensioner from Sri Aman and this was his first time going for a holiday out of Malaysia.
At the immigration, he was pulled aside by the officer. Again, he was speaking in Malay and they couldn't understand him. They wanted to handcuff him coz' he had overstayed. Hubby explained to them that he got robbed a few days ago. I guess it's quite common for this thing to happen there and they let him go. At the boarding area, I've bought a box of doughnuts to eat and a few bottles of water. I gave the old man 2 doughnuts and a bottle of water. He must have been hungry for not having any money to eat. He was kinda worried that he cannot board the plane to go back. He lost all his contact numbers and he didn't know how to contact his family members. He has 2 sons in KL but don't know how to contact them.Hubby and I decided to buy him an air ticket to go back once we reached KL, if his family members didn't turn up at the airport.
On the aeroplane, I bought a sandwich for him even thought he said he's full. It's a four hours journey and I am sure he'll be hungry. At the airport, his daughter in law was there waiting for him. He was so happy and kept thanking both of us.
We went back staright to Taiping and reached there almost 10p.m. FIL called and wanted us to join him for dinner but we were all to tired to go. At home, while I was busy unpacking, I realised one of the bag was not in the room. I asked hubby to go downstairs and bring it up. Hubby searched the whole living room and couldn'y find it. At last, I realised that I forgot to carry it from the belt at the airport. Hubby quickly called the lost and found at LCCT. We managed to get them after numerous calls. They'll send the bag to Penang airport on the first flight tomorrow morning.Phew...That bag was full with our new jeans and t-shirts.....
