Goodbye Baby Cot

Last month, my maid broke the sliding door of the baby cot when she fell on it on her two knees while she was carrying Keith to put him in the cot. Luckily, Keith was alright as he almost slip from my maid's hand. So, last Friday, hubby decided to dismantle the door of the cot and turn it into a bed for Keith, like Zara's mom did. Keith slept in his modified cot on Friday night itself. After that, we were away during the weekend to attend a birthday party in Sg. Petani. We came back on Sunday evening and that was the end of Keith's baby cot's LIFE. My step daughter who weights about 32kg at the age of 9 ran and jump on the cot. The cot broke into two and Keith couldn't sleep on it anymore.
As it is, hubby was so happy that I've finally put Keith in his modified bed and hubby got rid of Keith from the bed.Hahaha....In the end, Keith is back on the bed with us again. Hubby was so frustrated that he said he's going to sleep on the floor, which he didn't do.Hahaha.....
MIL saw the broken cot outside the house next to our rubbish bin and I told her about it. In the afternoon, when I went back for lunch, we saw the cot missing, thinking that the MPT might have taken it away. But, I was wrong. The dismantled cot was in my MIL's house. She said that we don't know how to appreciate money by throwing the cot away. Hubby told her off that it's already broken and of course it will not last coz' it got soaked in the water when his house got flooded years ago. MIL said she's ask the carpenter to fix it and it would cost only RM50. Hubby told her she can keep it. She's being silly thinking that her money RM50 is so big taht she could get that cot done for that price. No way, with the damage of the cot. Nothing is cheap nowadays.
Well, she can do wat she wants with it since she think that her RM50 would be able to cover the labour and material to fix that cot.

Keith's progress

A few days ago, MIL told us that she had a small conversation with Keith:

Keith: On T.V.

MIL: (On T.V.) What do you want to watch?

Keith: On T.V. tatoon (cartoon)

MIL: Put cartoon channel and then purposely change it to a different channel.

Keith: (eeeeeee....started to wriggle here and there) put tatoon (cartoon)...

Compare to all his cousins which are a few months elder than him, he's progressing pretty fast. At school, his teacher started to use words flashcard and hubby was pretty impress when he saw Keith actually say the word out. For example: Toy, Fish (with his lips mimiking the fish and also doing the bubble sound)

We are trying to toilet train Keith by teaching him verbally first. My maid used to tell him the word "Berak" (poo poo) whenever he did his big job, but he always mistaken "berak" for fart. The other day, he actually poo poo and he came and told me he "Berak". I opened his diaper and I peep into it and he did poo poo. Nowadays, after he poo poo, he'll tell us. But sometimes, he tend to forget. After this, we'll try to teach him to tell us that he needs to poo poo so that he can do it in his potty.

I Can't seem to get it over with

It's been more than a week now that I've made a very big decision of letting the baby in my womb go. It's kinda heartache but I've no choice but to listen to my gynae and numerous gyneas/ professor from K.L.
The pregnancy was unexpected as I don't intend to get preggy till next year. Last month, before going to Phuket for my holiday, I went to the pharmacy and bought "Noretristerone" to stop my period from coming as from my calculation, it is suppose to come on the 13th of April which is my flight to Phuket. The week before, I had some brownish stain showing that my period is coming soon. Not knowing that I was pregnant, I took the pills for 4 days while I was in Phuket. I was feeling like normal, infact more energetic than the 1st pregnancy. That makes me even less suspect that I am pregnant.
I immediately stopped the pill the moment I got back to Malaysia. I've waited for my period to come for about a week but still no sign of it. So, I've decided to buy a pregnancy test which showed a positive line. I got so excited and told hubby about it. The next day, hubby and I went to the clinic to confirm the pregnancy. Gynae told that I was 5 weeks pregnant and the baby's due in Dec. Another December baby for me....Later on, when I told my gynae about the medication I took and asked whether it'll harm the baby or not? From the look on his face, my heart shattered into pieces and I almost broke down in the clinic. He said I have to let go of the baby as the medication which I took causes side effect to the baby. The baby might be born handicap, hormones imbalance, etc. My gynae fixed an appointment for me on the 26th April for the abortion.
I've tried my level best to get other advices from other gynaes and professor since I've got 3 more days before the abortion. But, all came back with a negative answer. At last, I've no choice but to go for the abortion. It was hard for me to accept the fact but I just don't have a choice. It's either I continue and then later on make the baby suffer when he/she's born into this world or let he/she go back and stay with the LORD.
After the abortion, thinking that my MIL would take care of me by cooking all the nice confinement food for me. But I was wrong. Not even once she cook for me confinement food, that I had to ask hubby to bring me to a chinese kopitiam to ask them to fry ginger chicken with extra ginger for me, get the herbs myself and ask my maid to put it in the slow cooker for me, etc. I was lucky to have a colleague, which is like sister to me to boil some herbal soup for me after the abortion. I wish my mom was here for me. I wish that I am back at home in Kuching after the abortion. At least I've got my aunties to take care of me.
I am going through an emotional stress at the moment and can't stop thinking of what I've done. I am being touchy lately and often quarrel with hubby for a small tiny thing. Last week, I went to the extend of going to tell hubby that I needed some time off from our marriage but luckily, I got back to my sane self again and never do that stupid mistake. I've been very down lately and would broke down anytime when I thought of it or see any relative with a growing belly. I do hope that I'll be able to get through this problem fast or else I am going to go mad.
I kept consoling myself that I can get pregnant again after 3 months according to my gynae and I am still young. But I do hope, GOD will forgive me for what I've done......

Keith is My Life

Sometimes, when you get so stress up from work, you wish to go back home as fast as you can, coz' someone at home is waiting for you to take all your stress away.
As for me, Keith has always been there for me. Every afternoon, when I go back to my PIL's house for lunch, I could hear Keith's voice the moment I open the car door. That has already cure half of my stress. The moment I open the gate, I could hear Keith running towards the grill door calling "Mummy, mummy!!". He'll be waiting impatiently for me to open the grill door by asking me to "Bum, bum" (his way of saying open). Then he'll push the grill door and quickly hug me and ask me to carry him. Then he'll give me big kisses on the cheeks and hug me so tightly, like as though I was a way for weeks. All my stress is gone....
In the evening, he'll be napping when I get home or just got up from his nap. He'll rub his head all over me and wants me to carry him. Then he'll give me a big kiss.
How I wish he'll stay this young forever...I don't want to go through the hassel of scolding him, quarrelling with him, get stress up with all the nonsenses he does, worrying about the group of friends he's with, education (don't know whether he's a lazybone or a bookworm), girlfriends, getting married, getting me a cruel daughter in law, leaving me and hubby behind when we are old , Old folks home (if he's so cruel), etc.....

Keith's new hairstyle

Keith's new innocent look

Bring Keith to the barber to cut his hair was a disaster. It was his first hair cut and he refuse to sit down and let the man cut his hair. So, last Friday morning, I was on MC. After Keith took his shower in the morning, I decided to cut his hair myself. It's my first time but I have no choice. I tricked him by letting him hold the handphone, toys, comb, etc. so that he could sit quietly while I cut his hair. It was a little crooked at the side above his ears. Hehe....like Temenggong Jugah's hair cut.Hahaha....
Hubby was angry with me because I cut Keith's hair. He prefers his long curly hair which makes him look like a rascal. I do hope his curly hair locks will grow back coz' lotsa ppl told me that I won't get those locks back anymore. I was so upset after that. What to do? PIL are eating my head to cut his hair coz' they complained it's too long.Bla..Bla..Bla... I am not going to cut his hair after this.

Keith shocked Us

Yesterday, Keith was very naughty. We were waiting in the car for hubby to "tapao" dinner when Keith climbed over to the driver seat. He started holding the steering wheel, turning the night light of the car and suddenly, he turned the car key and switched off the car engine. I quickly turn off the lights and pull out the car key. Then, I started scolding him for being naughty. To my surprise, he turned to me and put his finger pointer on his lips and "shoo" at me, asking me to keep quiet.
At home, he did the same to hubby too. Hubby was scolding him for being naughty when he turned and "shoo" at him. He was stunned when Keith did that.Hahaha....Naughty boy..knows how to keep both of us quiet and stop nagging at him.

Keith's words progress:

1) Close the door - Tutup Pintu (in Malay)

2) Ambil - Ambik

3) Phone - On

4) I love you - I you

5) Public - Pa pa blic

6) Good Nite - ood nie
